John Hancock Center Final Poster- Blackman
The interactive elements that i chose to use were folding and scoring. I chose these methods because it was what i needed to have in order to reach the effect that i wanted- the building to appear to come straight out of the poster. i think my poster is a success because it accomplished everything that i wanted to. if i had to change anything i would move around some of my type just a bit to the left and right, or up and down. from this project, i learned how to use poster design and 3d as one component. it is interesting to see a poster that has a third dimension because poster that we're used to seeing usually only have 2. that being said, this project was a challenging yet satisfying peek at 3d poster design.
